- Only successful responses bill. Errors, throttles, ambiguous matches, invalid input, and not-covered answers cost nothing.
- A duplicate packet for the same property and release inside a rolling 24-hour window costs zero credits. Retries are never double-billed.
- Overage is metered and declines with volume: the first 500 at $0.10 per credit, the next 2,000 at $0.06 per credit, the next 10,000 at $0.04 per credit, then $0.02 per credit. Overage is capped at 2 times the plan price; credits beyond that cap are declined until you upgrade, never billed silently.
- Annual billing earns 2 months free.
- Billing runs on Stripe metered billing reconciled against the packet ledger.
